Network Services Manager The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is seeking applications for a Network Services Manager for the Information & Technology Services Department. The Information & Technology department provides highly reliable information technology infrastructure, tools and services to empower the University to achieve its academic, research, administrative and service goals. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (prefer Computer Science/Information Systems), 3-5 years of hands on technical experience managing and configuring enterprise-wide LANs, WAN,s WLANs, VPNs, etc. Two – three years successful leadership of a networking team with the ability manage complex information systems and technical personnel is required. Essential Job Duties: The Network & Voice Services Manager is responsible for the implementation and operation of technology infrastructure deployed within the university. This position is operationally responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, and security for all IT networking infrastructure and for the day-to-day management of the Network & Voice Services Team. Duties include but are not limited to, supervising the Network and Voice Services team, managing day-to-day workload and priorities of new and existing tasks, research and recommend potential departmental and technology improvements to senior management.
