Eckerd College is currently hiring for the position of Director of Enteprise Applications to join our Enterprise Applications team at our waterfront property along the Boca Ciega Bay in St. Petersburg, Florida, in our relationship-focused community.
Position Summary The Director of Enterprise Applications is responsible for providing the leadership role for the enterprise applications support functions. This includes Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and other administrative applications that support the operational efficiencies within Eckerd College and their effective and efficient operation and functional development.
The Director of Enterprise Applications will also serve to support the CIO with departmental management in regard to strategic planning, staffing, operations, and budget.
Essential Functions(other non-essential duties may be assigned)
Lead members of the Enterprise Applications Team and provide a positive working environment.
Partner with campus stakeholders to assess, prioritize, and manage stakeholder needs regarding the ERP (Banner) and other administrative applications to ensure system investments meet business requirements.
Act as a subject matter expert for the College's data governance and IT governance efforts.
Take responsibility for development and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide applications that support the administrative functions of the College, including all ERP applications.
Provide technical support to campus stakeholders and assist in maximizing technology usage and investment.
Provide technical advice on administrative systems and help assess the implications of process changes or the addition of features or software.
Oversee any modifications, enhancements or additions made related to the Ellucian products
Monitor and ensure diagnosis and resolution of incidents and/or service requests in accordance with SLA timelines.
Facilitate integration between Banner and other on-premise and software modules
Seek opportunities to improve campus processes through the application of appropriate software and systems
Ensure team members stay current with new technologies, trends and best practices in the IT industry, in order to advise on any new or emerging technologies that fits within the overall Technology strategy.
Assist in developing the strategic priorities of the ITS department in order to achieve the mission of Eckerd College.

Preferred Qualifications
Graduate degree from an accredited college or university
Oracle database administration experience
Extensive programming experience
Knowledge of the following programming languages is preferred: Oracle: SQL, PL/SQL, SQL*PLUS, MySQL: SQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, ASP, Unix shell scripting and C.
Experience with Postman and RESTful web services
Experience in Higher Education.
Experience with Onbase Document Management
Experience with Evisions Argos Reporting
Experience with Technolutions Slate and Raiser's Edge.
Ability to manage a complex workload, set priorities and use good judgment in managing projects.
