The Director of Enterprise Application is a full-time, benefited position responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative software solutions to enhance student and faculty experiences. This role involves overseeing the integration of enterprise systems, managing data that will be used to make informed decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement in our technological services.

Strategic Planning and Leadership - Guide strategic planning and leadership by developing and overseeing long-term enterprise systems strategies that align with institutional goals.
System Design and Implementation - Ensure effective system design and implementation by overseeing the planning, development, and deployment of enterprise solutions that meet the college’s technical and operational requirements.
Operational Management – Oversee operational management by directing the day-to-day activities, ensuring system performance, and optimizing processes to support the college’s enterprise systems and IT infrastructure.
Data Governance and Compliance – Ensure data governance and compliance by establishing and enforcing policies, managing data security, and maintaining adherence to regulatory requirements for the college’s enterprise systems.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement – Foster collaboration and stakeholder engagement by facilitating communication, building partnerships, and aligning enterprise system initiatives with the needs of faculty, staff, and other key stakeholders across the college.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge

While performing the essential duties of this position, an employee would frequently be required to move around the assigned work areas as well as within hallways, meeting rooms, and other parts of the campus facilities
There may be multiple/daily instances of prolonged sitting, standing, and personal computer use, which would include keyboard and/or mouse usage as well as viewing a computer monitor
An employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
The overall work environment requires the mental ability to shift focal point quickly due to interruptions; an employee must be able to mentally track multiple projects and tasking as well
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; however, there may be instances of somewhat loud environments when working with assembly tools or in server environments.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 3 years of progressive experience configuring and managing ERP systems
Experience with IT leadership responsibilities.
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience specifically within community colleges or other higher education institutions, with a deep understanding of their unique challenges and opportunities.
Experience with specific enterprise applications (e.g., Colleague) and familiarity with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning in an educational context.
Experience working with large data stores and making the information available for reporting.
Experience in budget planning and management related to IT projects and enterprise applications.
Experience with T-SQL, C#, and networking concepts
