POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the IT leadership team, provides leadership, management, and development of the enterprise information systems unit and associated personnel, systems, and applications to ensure the delivery of exemplary service and information management. Collaborates with key stakeholders and supports project and resource management for administrative and academic functions. Builds partnerships with business area and department leaders whose operations rely on enterprise systems, championing project management and change management strategies to align technology with desired outcomes. Actively advances and promotes Le Moyne's mission, Catholic and Jesuit identity, and commitment to social justice and care for the whole person.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Job duties specific to this position:
Leads the EIS team to design, develop and implement successful projects and systems
Provides direct oversight of the college’s administrative systems including Workday, Ellucian Colleague, Hyland OnBase, and other enterprise and/or assigned systems.
Collaboratively enables and support de-centralized information systems including CRM,
Coordinates and supervises the day-to-day operations of the unit including allocation of available resources, team management, and work assignment
Translates strategic unit priorities into appropriate staff organization, project plans, and task assignments
Promotes a security culture, secure software development, and secure systems management practices, including modeling and encouraging desired behavior and awareness including adherence to information security policies, procedures, and practices.
Prepares project status reports and keeps management, constituents, and others informed of project status and related issues
Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems
Serves as a resource for solving complex problems and issues
Corrects problems pertaining to operation of college applications
Conducts feasibility studies, analyzes user needs, designs in-house data processing systems or subsystems, programs the systems or subsystems, develops testing criteria, and establishes documentation to support new systems
Maintains primary responsibility for assigned systems and applications
Prepares detailed database data descriptions, table layouts, queries, data exchanges and reports
Designs program logic and codes into authorized programming language
Produces system documentation and trains constituents in those systems
Coordinates and encourages the ongoing professional development of unit staff.
Mentors and trains programmers and analysts in the department
Communicates with constituents to ensure that applications meet information needs
Maintains a constituent centric approach at all times; demonstrates professionalism in contacts with others.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent academic preparation from a regionally accredited college or university
7-10 years of leadership, management and professional programming experience with increasing responsibility in the design, development, and operations of administrative/enterprise information systems and in the professional development and mentoring of colleagues
In-depth knowledge of principals, practices, methods and techniques for long-range and strategic technology planning.
Demonstrated experience with relevant enterprise systems including ERP, CRM, business analytics, data warehouse, data mining, and decision support and reporting systems
Technical knowledge and experience, including information architecture, information security, business process analysis, relational database design and administration, software development and systems lifecycle management
Experience with ITIL or comparable service management framework.
