Summary of Position:The Lead Enterprise Applications Analyst serves as a liaison between business stakeholders, student support areas, end-users, and IT to protect and promote data assets. This influential role will interact with all levels of the organization, guide the development of data assets, and ensure the use of data assets to drive the success of CCAD's academic mission. The Lead Analyst will assist end users achieve desired results by providing guidance, troubleshooting, training and development assistance with the various systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES included but are not limited to the following:
Protect and promote all data assets, including the Student Information System.
Serve as the point of contact for data owned by other student support areas, including Student Records, Advising, Bursar, Admissions, and Financial Aid.
Provide support to the Enterprise Applications team in the development and support of data assets and the enhancement of existing data assets, assuming responsibility for their operation, support, maintenance, and integrations.
Lead the development of a data warehouse to retain and access regularly captured data, and create a plan for stakeholders to access and utilize the data.
In coordination with the Director of Applications & User Services and application owners, identify and support Data Governance activities of the college.
Documents appropriate use policies and procedures in partnership with privacy and security officers.Acts as a data quality subject matter expert to the Enterprise Applications team and stakeholders.
Supports all users as they learn data and associated reporting and processes.
Maintains, respects and protects the confidentiality of information.
Provides shared experiences and expertise that will contribute to CCAD's commitment to diversity and inclusiveness.
Contribute to diversity and inclusive excellence by creating technology services and processes that are inclusive, equitable, and accessible.
Secondary Responsibilities
Provide mentorship to a team of business and data analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance and identify areas for improvement.
Maintains a cooperative and professional working relationship with other members of the IT staff and with the CCAD community.
In collaboration with other IT staff, implements technology security standards.
May serve on College-wide committees, task forces, working groups etc.
Other duties or responsibilities may be assigned.
Tertiary Responsibilities
Represents CCAD and Library & Information Technology by attending or presenting at appropriate conferences and events.
Participates in the life of the College by attending campus events such as gallery openings, student exhibits and invited speakers.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Advanced proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik),data visualizations, and data warehousing concepts.
Strong command of data analytics, reporting and data integration technologies.
Proficiency using SAS, SQL, R, Python, or similar programs preferred.
A passion for helping the organization use data.
Experience writing technical documentation.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
At least 5 years of progressive experience with database systems, including integrations, reporting, and querying.
Experience on projects to transition systems to the cloud, or implement new systems, or complete major upgrades to systems.
