The Information Technology Department has an immediate opening for a newly created role of Director of Digital Transformation. Working collaboratively with University leadership, as well as college & departmental leaders, the Director of Digital Transformation is an integral part of the IT leadership team and a key participant in all aspects of directing, planning, supporting and managing digital transformational strategies and projects, including those at any new SHU facilities. The Director of Digital Transformation will represent Seton Hill in university stakeholder meetings pertinent to digital process transformation initiatives, leading the initiatives and setting high, achievable aspirations for services and operations that align with university goals and objectives. This role is not static and balances agility with the need for formal risk management while applying continuous improvement methods to achieve the academic, administrative, and service goals of the University.

Requirements: :
Post-secondary degree in business or technical discipline, or equivalent experience
Broad knowledge and understanding of IT software and hardware compatibility
Knowledge of project management software and practices
Business process management and business analysis experience, including business requirements gathering, needs assessment, process modeling, and process monitoring
Applicant must also have excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal, influencing, facilitation and presentation skills; ability to interact effectively with a wide range of constituents; ability to prioritize multiple tasks; ability to work well individually and/or as a member of a team; ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations; ability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.
