The Systems Analyst works as a key member of the Enterprise Applications team. They provide research and support for all enterprise applications and databases. The Systems analyst regularly works with outside vendors and contractors. They are responsible for ensuring system data security and integrity. The Systems Analyst works with various IT team members to document solutions for the User Services Team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must have strong, working knowledge of relational database platforms and experience in using database administration applications, database report writers, and database backup tools.
Support, maintenance, and backup of all campus database systems.
Monitor the usage, permissions, and maintenance of Jenzabar, PowerFAIDS, Raisers Edge, LCard, Blackboard, and ad-hoc databases and related systems.
Monitor and manage logins by auditing existing accounts.
Create advanced database reports, stored procedures and automated jobs
Perform training sessions for database users
Evaluate and derive solutions to resolve information management needs
Create and maintain multi-system integrations, such as Jenzabar-Blackboard, Cashnet, LCard. Implement new database related software or systems as it relates to existing databases
Customer Service: Responds quickly and effectively to student, faculty, and staff concerns.
Develops solutions to problems and responds quickly to the concerned party.

Skills and Education:
An undergraduate degree is required from a four-year regionally accredited university.
Required database skills include extensive knowledge of Transact SQL (T-SQL) for MS SQL and programming languages such as HTML, C# and .net.
Excellent customer service skills
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing

Ability to explain and train in non-technical terms.
