Reporting to the director of academic technology, the Academic Technologist Learning Management System Specialist combines sharp technical skills with a deep understanding of education. Day-to-day responsibilities are centered around supporting Wesleyan’s course lifecycle. The specialist ensures that the Wesleyan community has access to the tools, documentation, training, and support they need to manage their course sites in the learning management system (Moodle).The specialist works with faculty to launch their course sites successfully at the start of each term and to then leverage the learning management system and its plugins and resources throughout the term.
