The Classroom Technology Manager leads ACC’s efforts to provide best-in-class technology in innovative learning spaces. The Classroom Technology Manager will design and advance our classroom technology footprint to a fully IP-based AV topology with innovative and intuitive user experiences. Additionally, this position will
Oversee the development, coding, installation, maintenance, and refresh life cycle of classroom technology resources. This includes audio and visual resources, current Extron infrastructure future IP-based AV topologies, end user interfaces, supporting software, and end user software experiences.
Serve as subject matter expert and liaison to promote effective integration of technology into teaching and learning-related activities.
Develop and oversee the population and demonstration technologies related to education in the Technology Showcase Sandbox
Coordinate implementation of a classroom technology strategy that advances accessible, inclusive, and innovative learning spaces.
The Classroom Technology Manager develops and leads a team of dedicated customer-facing technology and audio/visual analysts, technicians, and student employees who maintain and provide flexible, ongoing support for current and future instructional technology.

Project management and long-term design
Required Qualifications
Five years experience in a classroom or event technology, AV, or an IT-related position
Three years experience in a technical management or supervisory role managing at least two full-time technical employees
Experience designing and coding complex AV environments with intuitive user interfaces
Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple priorities
Demonstrated commitment to working in a diverse and inclusive environment
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of, or experience in a higher education environment
Budget management experience
Salary Range
Salary range for this position is $91,743 - $102,752, commensurate with experience and education.
