Provide leadership and oversight for the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing support of college enterprise applications in partnership with various business units. Continually seek to increase operational effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of technical services for these areas. Work closely with business unit liaisons and leadership to provide and evaluate technical application services and service delivery to support business solution strategies and direction. Provide direction and lead system conversions, upgrades, and report development.
SUPERVISION
This position reports to the Director, Enterprise Applications, Data, and Integration. This position directly supervises and provides direction and guidance to the college applications technical services team.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide leadership in the management, oversight, of implementation of systems that support operations including assessment, technology acquisition, ensuring availability, managing upgrades and migrations, setting, and maintaining security and access for users, establishing, and implementing testing and system integration strategies with other campus systems.
Maintain an understanding of product roadmaps and directions for solutions as the industry continues to evolve and new tools become available. Continually update unit roadmaps and plan future work.
Provide direction regarding the use of related data, systems, and tools to assess and improve effectiveness and progress towards department and division goals.
Communicate system maintenance, interruptions, and maintenance to stakeholders and assisting in resolution.
Direct, coach, and mentor a shared support services team fostering collaboration, setting priorities, implementing effective processes, and adopting innovative technology solutions. Promote a service mindset and ensure resources are aligned to support these functional areas.
Provide product management leadership and services for the successful implementation of technology.
Work with the director of applications, data, and integrations to identify and deploy business intelligence methodology and tools and provide input for the effectiveness and data integrity of the reports and analytics dashboards.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience; previous experience managing the operational aspects of an information management system and writing programs to extract and analyze data; demonstrated understanding of user experience considerations, and the ability to collect and synthesize requirements and create a strategy for solving business problems; demonstrated ability to identify and deploy state of the art software tools to address business needs; understanding of relational databases; knowledge of Banner, Oracle HCM and Finance, 'SQL'(Structured Query Language) and other data retrieval and reporting tools is preferred; willingness to learn and embrace new technologies; excellent attention to detail, strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and written and verbal communications skills; previous management experience, ability to cultivate an inclusive, diverse and welcoming environment; ability to treat all people equitably and with a sensitivity and awareness to cultural difference; demonstrated ability to hold others accountable for behavior that is supportive of a community that is diverse and inclusive; ability to prioritize and manage the staff and budget resources allocated to systems projects; strong problem-solving ability, and understanding of finance and human resources business practices and needs are required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Most of the work of the incumbent is carried out within a generally accessible, safe, indoor environment; remote and hybrid work options are also available. Then the incumbent will be required to use a personal computer and associated equipment as well as other office equipment used in the day-to-day operations. The incumbent may need to deliver various correspondences or other informational materials on campus requiring the ability to walk or drive.
