General Description 

The purpose of this position is to lead, direct, and oversee all aspects of Northeast Community College’s Institutional Research and Analytics Services with minimum supervision. Serves as the authority as delegated by the Vice President of Technology Services for strategic leadership and responsibility for establishing and executing the College’s vision for the delivery of information, data governance, quality assurance clearinghouse, institutional dashboards, learning communities, institutional reports and related training services. Working with the Vice President of Technology Services and the Director of Institutional Research and Analytics develops departmental strategic and operational plans; directs operations, manages budget, and provides leadership to the Director of Institutional Research and Analytics it pertains to service management in technology operations.

The Associate Vice President of Institutional Research and Analytics is a key leader in strengthening institutional use of data in assessment and decision-making, providing leadership in developing and implementing the college’s institutional research and assessment plan to support institutional integrated planning, policy analysis and program improvement.
