Our Cybersecurity Supervisor is an extremely important and rewarding position that will develop, recommend, and administer policies, procedures, risk management, testing, audit efforts, and enforce security controls. Throughout the screening process, you will be evaluated based on the demonstration of these qualifications. - Experience with leading and technical management of teams and vendor partners in design, operations and continuous improvement of cyber security technologies and program. Understanding stakeholder requirements, planning and managing technical security programs and coordinating with cross functional teams on security implementations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current cyber threat landscape and cyber-security product categories. Demonstrated application of cyber-security product categories, products and available technologies.
- Detailed understanding of how to leverage standards (e.g. MITRE, NIST CSF, etc.) in the development and implementation of incident response processes, standards, policies, and measurement of their effectiveness.
- Experience working in multiple information security domains (e.g. governance risk and compliance), attack surface management, identify and access management, network security, data protection, disaster recovery, security operations, incident response and threat modeling.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with diverse audiences at all levels, including the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences and leadership.
- Demonstrated experience/coursework/professional activities to mentor others in new technologies, work methodologies, and provides clarity in tasks.
- Understanding of the primary regulatory compliance expectations and demonstrated successfully implementing and governing applicable information security controls.
Minimum Qualifications To be considered, your application must demonstrate these minimum qualifications. (Experience is calculated based on the start and end dates you provide multiplied by the number of hours per week worked). - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related discipline. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year for year basis.
- Four years progressively responsible work experience cyber security management, including one year of lead or supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications - CISM, CISSP, CISA, and/or GIAC or comparable certification.
- Proven leadership in project management, and an understanding of connections among technology, the organization and leadership in relation to business processes and problem resolution.
- Experience of compliance with regulatory requirements, laws and frameworks, including but not limited to PCI, SOX or GLBA, HIPAA, ISO 27001/2, NIST, or IRS Publication 1075.
- Expertise of security concepts and best practices related to incident management, threat and vulnerability management.
- Experience with investigating and managing cyber incidents and remediation.
- Experience with identifying, analyzing, and communicating cyber threat and vulnerability information.
- Experience applying threat and vulnerability analyses models, examples include the LM Cyber Kill Chain, the Diamond Model of Intrusion Analysis, the Mitre ATT&CK Framework and the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS).
Position Grade J Starting Salary Expectations Minimum $70,796 to range midpoint of $86,726 Placement will generally not exceed the mid-point, based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
