Baylor University is seeking an Associate Vice President of Library & Academic Technology Services. This position provides leadership and guidance to the Library & Academic Technology Services division in its efforts to provide effective technology and essential information resources to the Baylor community in support of teaching, learning, and research. Additionally, this position assists the Dean of University Libraries with projects and services for faculty, staff, students, donors, supporters, and partners of the University and the Libraries.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the research process, the current state of technology, and a vision of technological opportunities in the future including the use of artificial intelligence and virtual reality. Additionally, the person chosen for this position must demonstrate a passion for collaborative endeavors and the ability to forge meaningful partnerships.
Qualifications A Master's Degree and ten or more years of relevant work experience are required. A record of involvement with a regional and/or national professional technology organization is preferred.
