Innovative Learning at Purdue helps use evidence-based pedagogy and technology to engage students in transformative learning. Whatever the teaching and learning needs are, the Innovative Learning Team provides resources for teaching Purdue courses in any modality.
As an Educational Technology Consultant your role within Innovative Learning will be to provide educational workshops, instructor consulting and the highest level of expertise to solve challenges with centrally supported teaching and learning tools. You will also prepare and develop training materials for the supported applications.
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Technology, Education, Computer Technology, or related fields
Two years of experience conveying concepts and ideas via one-many (workshops) and one-few (meetings for deliberation, discussion, and decision) delivery.
In lieu of degree, consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience using instructional tools.
Learning management system knowledge.
Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
Presentation skills – 1:1, group, to leadership, etc.
Ability to articulate technical terms and analytical outcomes in a user-friendly way, using visual aids such as graphs, charts and executive summaries
