The Oregon State University Division of Ecampus is seeking a Program Intake Manager. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month, fixed term professional faculty position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the Director.
The Program Intake Manager (PIM) is a professional faculty member in the Oregon State University Division of Ecampus, a fast-growing, entrepreneurial organization with a commitment to providing access to Oregon State University’s programs of excellence. The mission of Ecampus, as a leader in online education, is to engage in innovative and creative partnerships to provide access to exceptional learning experiences that transform the lives of students in Oregon and around the world.
This position is part of the program management team and supports Ecampus by managing new program proposals through the process from initial inquiry to program launch, including assisting academic units and faculty in preparing proposals for new Ecampus programs, drafting Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) for new program development, reporting key information about proposed programs to internal Ecampus units to help launch new program development effectively and efficiently, and ensuring that OSU administrative systems updates are in place to support the new program offerings. The PIM uses and maintains templates and data systems involved with the intake of new Ecampus programs. The PIM serves as liaison with the Office of Academic Programs and Assessment (APA), the Office of the Registrar, the Office of Admissions and Graduate Admissions.
In support of the new program intake process, the PIM will develop and maintain systems for the transparent display of information on program proposal progression, as well as a means to record and share information and communications between and across Ecampus cross-unit teams.
The PIM is a pivotal position, facilitating communications between Ecampus and the academic unit, and works closely with the Ecampus new program intake team, supporting weekly intake meetings for executive decision making, providing follow-up to clarify issues surrounding program proposals. Strong communication skills are essential, as is a high level of professionalism. In this regard, the PIM contributes to important strategy, operations, and business decisions that affect the success of Ecampus programs.

Bachelor’s degree in education, communications, business, public policy, economics, social sciences, or a field relevant to duties outlined in the position description
