IT services at the University of Arkansas is currently seeking candidates for the position of IT Security Solutions Architect. The Information Security Solutions Architect reports to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
The duties for this position include the following:
Support, execute and helps maintain various initiatives of the Information Security team to improve the security posture of the university.
This position works to be a subject matter expert in security technologies and information systems, learn technical expertise in areas such as network protocols, intrusion detection, vulnerability assessment, and identity and access management.
Supports day-to-day information security operations through problem analysis, solutions development, and implementation.
Prepares reports and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.

The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, information technology, or a related field from an accredited institution of higher education
At least five years of experience in information technology, including two years demonstrated experience in information security
Applicable equivalencies may be considered.
