Loyola Marymount University has an opening for an Admissions Analyst. The Admissions Analyst will provide day-to-day support for the functional operation of the Admission Office information system and application processes. Additional responsibilities include: creating and maintaining regular and ad hoc admission reports; monitoring and maintaining the integrity of Admission data across enterprise information systems, developing solutions to identify data errors; and participating in the development, testing, implementation and management of data interface between Technolution Slate and other enterprise systems. The Admissions Analyst will exercise daily responsibility for the interface with Ellucian Banner and research, design, implement and manage imaging solutions across Admission business processes.

We seek candidates who typically possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative or technically oriented field. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in functional management of information systems and relational databases; familiarity with Technolutions Slate and Ellucian Banner is highly desirable. We also seek candidates that have demonstrated knowledge in the areas of: technical documentation, SQL, MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint); managing the use of complex data and information systems, familiarity with document imaging systems and processes. Familiarity with the college admission process is desirable. We are also seeking candidates that have the ability to compile data and run reports using appropriate reporting tools such as SQL, Access, and Excel. Highly developed organization skills and the ability to work well in a functional and technical team environment, and to take direction and supervision is a must.
