Job Scope: Support the Information Technology Department through serving as the Multimedia Specialist and performing a variety of other related tasks.
Create multimedia designs in liaison with faculty, staff, and students.
Develop video tutorials and other training materials using skills and expertise in appropriate design packages such as Photoshop, In Design and After Effects.
Produce a variety of video products for webcasting, digital distribution, etc.
Plan and perform video post-production tasks which include reviewing footage, making editorial decisions, video transcoding, rough cuts, audio adjustment, color correction, and final editing using Adobe Creative Suite software.
Utilize computer graphics and special effects for video post-production in accordance with the overall production concepts; compresses video projects for output; captures recorded video using software and encode media as appropriate.
Work collaboratively with faculty, staff and students to make video products available in a variety of formats including streaming media files; publishes, organizes, and optimizes media on third-party websites such as YouTube, Facebook Twitter, and other social media platforms.
Provide video streaming services for special events.
Facilitate communications between internal and external clients via video conferencing software and hardware.
Orient, train and lead others performing similar work and report to immediate supervisor on a formal basis.
Communicate with VIP guests, upper administration, obtain the cooperation of others and handle delicate relationships and complex situations.
Provide periodic reports projects.
Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of basic HTML; image and graphic manipulation/editing; as well as specialty areas such as video and/or audio editing.
Bachelor's Degree in technology or related field.
Experience with video/photo editing or adobe Photoshop/premiere
