The Center for Information Technology Services (CITS) has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Enterprise Applications Developer for student information enterprise applications for the University. This position will have the responsibility for managing the “cloud” hosted Ellucian CRM Recruit and Degree Works applications requiring an in-depth technical knowledge of the Ellucian architecture. This position will use a variety of techniques and tools to achieve the desired application functionality, including system technical design, configuration and processing, and application integration using BEP and BRIM technology.
The Senior Developer will provide on-going support and maintenance of Ellucian production systems, working with UMB Schools, monitoring critical business activities, troubleshooting, resolving issues, and escalating complex matters to the appropriate level for resolution.

Design, deploy, tests, and maintain Ellucian CRM Recruit and Degree Works enterprise applications for the University throughout the lifescyle from inception to implementation.
Design interfaces and integration specifications for the Ellucian applications, evaluate campus requirements, and provide solutions.
Develop and execute project work plans for deployment of enterprise application and maintenance to meet changing needs and requirements.
Develop reporting and trouble-shooting enhancements within CRM and Degree Works applications
Independently translates functional requirements into technical design including system configuration and processing requirements.
Ensure documentation, functional and technical specifications are up-to-date.
Work closely with database and systems administration staff to maximize function and effectiveness of enterprise applications.
Assist in establishing and maintaining application security for campus community.
Act as an Ellucian liaison with users to address functional requirements/gaps, provide assistance, and recommend solutions to resolve issues.
Lead meetings with functional users to address issues/gaps as discovered.
Assist with the training to end-users pertaining to the CRM and Degree Works application.
Communicates and coordinates with other team members to ensure project goals are met.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelors in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Administration, Computer Engineering or a related field to enterprise application development and support.
Experience: Four (4) years of experience in working with student enterprise applications that required the use of ERP software packages (e.g. Ellucian Banner, Oracle/PeopleSoft, etc.).
This includes working as user of an ERP/enterprise-wide application, or providing technical or functional support to users of ERP/enterprise-wide administrative systems. Experience in the design, deployment, and maintenance of the Ellucian Banner CRM Recruit and/or Degree Works application strongly preferred.
Other: Equivalent eight (8) years combination of formal information systems & student enterprise application development experience.
