Serves as consultant and trouble-shooter for end-user technologies, including local (e.g., MS Office) and server-based applications (e.g., SharePoint). Supports High Value Healthcare Collaborative (HVHC) Program Management Office (PMO) personnel and HVHC Member personnel (e.g., Fellows), as applicable.
With minimal supervision:
Responds to user requests for assistance on the complete range of inquiries and problems with Mobile OS-, Windows-, and Linux-based desktop and server software, scanners, printers, modems, and other peripheral devices; provides Tier 1 support for Member access to web tools; configures, maintains, and inventories laptops and peripheral devices – 30%
Maintains and supports various HVHC-specific applications (e.g., marketing web site, Constant Contact, SharePoint) – 30%
Collaborates with The Dartmouth Institute (TDI) and Dartmouth College IT departments to ensure the security of protected information by implementing controls as prescribed by policies; educates users about HVHC and related security policies and controls – 20%
Advises end users about the use of internet tools including browsers, FTP programs, search engines, and email – 20%

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and computer hardware and maintenance
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication, and troubleshooting skills
Two to four years of relevant experience
Knowledge of networking connectivity of devices within the office environment
Knowledge of SharePoint, Constant Contact, Ruby on Rails, WordPress, Photoshop, Illustrator
