University Information Technology Services (UITS), within the University of Arizona, is seeking an IT Program Leader.
Reporting to the Lead Program Manager, the IT Program Leader for Enterprise CRM is responsible for leading research and project management for the Enterprise CRM Program. The IT Program Leader will facilitate project delivery in a highly collaborative, complex organizational context by assisting with the priority negotiation and orchestrating team communications and process. The IT Program Leader for Enterprise CRM thinks beyond timeline, budget, and scope to envision and deliver high-value outcomes through the enterprise CRM program.
The IT Program Leader possesses exceptional understanding of project budgets, forecasts, and schedules, and must be able to both provide a program management framework and processes that enable the whole team and perform hands-on as necessary to move specific efforts forward. The successful candidate will be a politically saavy leader who has successfully delivered enterprise scale solutions within the context of a complex, federated organizational structure.

Duties & Responsibilities
•Establish standards and norms for project management processes that ensure appropriate consistency in process and information to support transparency and reporting of key performance indicators. •Support balanced partner relationships and quality of outcomes with timeline, scope, and budget. •Undertake process and product research efforts as assigned to compose and present high level summaries to leadership. •Manage risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate decisions and unresolved issues. •Create project charters, lessons learned, close-out reports, and other project management artifacts. •Encourage interaction and the exchange of ideas, concerns, and proposals among departments to facilitate solutions to problems. Works with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems. •Build relationships with leaders and staff in partner organizations, resulting in a strong understanding of those partners needs and greater sense of collaboration and trust. •Facilitate continuous improvement of project methodologies. •Negotiate scope, timeline, and project delivery approaches with functional partners, team members, and project sponsors, with an eye toward maximizing value and outcomes. •Manage vendor statements of work and deliverables within the overall context of the project. •Communicate clearly and with the appropriate level of detail within all levels of the organization, including leadership.
•3-5 years project management experience. •5 years of progressively responsible information technology project management experience; OR, Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computing Information Technology or related field AND three years of progressively responsible information technology project management experience OR, Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.
