The management intern position will provide professional level administrative support to UTO Office of Governance, Policy, and Information Security, assisting with general administration projects, research and analysis, procedural studies, and technical planning. Collaborates with assigned senior staff member in order to gain working knowledge and experience related to department administration. Conducts independent research of administrative or operational areas specific to the area of assignment. Assembles and analyzes statistical data and makes interpretations for application to area of assignment.
$18.00 per hour
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously in the areas of information security.
Provide support to information security personnel.
Assist with support tasks and processes to drive automation.
Track data and generate reports from databases/spreadsheets.
Update documentation as needed.
Bachelor's degree in a related field; OR, any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Experience working in a professional, customer service oriented organization.
Evidence of effective verbal and written communication skills.
Evidence of effective organizational skills with attention to detail.
Experience in prioritizing tasks.
Experience in making decisions.
Experience in creating and maintaining procedural documentation.
Experience in working with Microsoft Office products.
working with Google Docs.
Demonstrated knowledge of basic programming concepts and practices
Demonstrated knowledge of operating systems (Windows/*nix) and scripting languages such as python and powershell.
