The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is seeking applications for an Academic Technologies Developer for the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. This is a full-time, permanent staff position. The College of Liberal Arts & Sciences advances the discovery, dissemination, and application of knowledge and creativity and – by building the academic programs for tomorrow – educates students to be critical and imaginative thinkers and engaged citizens for a world increasingly characterized by diversity and change.
The Academic Technologies developer would design, develop and test web application solutions for the college including modules, plugins, themes, and templates for a variety of web publishing platforms including WordPress, Drupal and G-Suite applications. He/she would be expected to deploy and document new and existing solutions, provide direct technical support to assist functional users in analyzing their problems, workflows, and processes and offers appropriate recommendations.
A Bachelor Degree is required. It is preferred that the incumbent have knowledge and experience working with HTML, CSS, SQL, web application development, server administration and version control systems such as Git. For further details on the preferred qualifications please select the link below.
