Macalester College seeks to hire a full-time Enterprise Application Analyst & Developer to work in the Information Technology Services department. This position leads the activities supporting the use of assigned enterprise software across the College and is the primary support for the College’s enterprise content management system. This role works closely with college departments to provide business process analysis as well as implement software enhancements, automated workflows, and new modules to meet operational requirements and desired outcomes.
Provides primary campus support and system administration of assigned applications and corresponding infrastructure and acts as the primary support contact with the vendor.
Maintains ownership of assigned applications development efforts, including assisting with infrastructure strategy, architecture design, systems configuration, taxonomy development and implementation, product and vendor selection, solution development and deployment, and ongoing services and maintenance. Develops workflows, forms and custom features as needed to implement business processes within solutions.
Maintains the assigned applications by taking ownership of releases and applicable patches including maintaining test and production instances for change management. Plan, organize and manage all system installations and upgrades. Maintains and administers application licensing and security for the assigned solutions.
Establishes and maintains ownership of technical documentation and standards for the assigned applications. This includes infrastructure solutions, database architecture, systems integration strategy, systems security, document organization, document access and scanning technologies.
Provides training for basic through advanced features and workflow integration for assigned applications.
Configures and implements scanners and various peripheral capture technology in order to effectively integrate these solutions with applications.

Bachelor’s degree required.
3-5 years of experience with integrated enterprise information systems. Experience with any enterprise content management system preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of digitization of process workflows. Knowledge of the theories, principles, and current trends of integrated information systems.
Ability to apply analysis and creative thinking when solving problems.
Demonstrated knowledge of working with diverse colleagues, students and community members.
Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with a diverse and independent group of clients, including students, faculty and staff, with a commitment to equity, inclusion and diversity.
