NIU’s College of Business is seeking a dynamic, articulate, and energetic leader to fill the role of Associate Dean for Academic Programs & Student Success. As the academic leader for all degree programs within the College of Business, the Associate Dean will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive plan for promoting best practices for student success, and fostering programmatic and co-curricular innovations aligned with our mission. As part of our senior leadership team, he or she will provide strategic direction in the areas of student recruitment, program implementation, student and industry engagement, and program assessment, working closely with College, University and community leaders to meet the dynamic needs of our diverse population.
Candidates must have a terminal degree in business, or a related field with a record of scholarship and teaching; a demonstrable record of accomplishment in a leadership role in higher education; a commitment to teaching, research, and student success; and the ability to fully engage on a leadership team that values collaboration, innovation, and commitment to excellence. Tenure and rank will be commensurate with applicant’s record of scholarship and teaching.
