The Web Applications Developer provides technical expertise and guidance in support and development of McLennan Community College's web applications and online technologies. Primary responsibilities include development and maintenance of the main public-facing website and associated technologies in conjunction with resources from Marketing and Communications, Information Technology, and the entire user community at MCC. The position will also be responsible for guiding IT support for web operations including selection, configuration, security, and tuning of various web services and third party applications. The position will also be responsible for helping to develop and maintain processes and standards in support of software development according to industry best practices, develop support systems and training for LMS & CMS technologies, and sit on the Web Governance and other committees. The job requires a high degree of technical skill. Receives direction from the Coordinator, Online Technologies. Exercises no supervision. NOTE: This is a security sensitive position and an appropriate background investigation will be made on applicants being strongly considered for this position.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
Education: Associate's degree from an accredited college or university. Experience: 2 years of software development or programming experience.Preferred Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Experience: 4 or more years of software development.
