Job Description Campus Technology Services division of the Office of Information Technologies is currently seeking an experienced team member to develop IAM solutions in support of many new services. As part of Campus Technology Services, the Identity & Access Management (IAM) developer is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of highly available, robust IAM services. Our ideal candidate has prior experience working with IAM architectures, solutions, technologies, and standards used by the research and education community.
Use modern tools to build and maintain IAM solutions in Amazon Web Services environments
Integrate locally developed applications and software as a service providers with single sign-on infrastructure
Partner with campus service providers to develop formal and informal workflows to request, review, and remove access
What You'll Do
Develop modern web applications to support IAM processes
Manage your workload, balancing improvements with production issues
Work closely with developers and sysadmins on other teams
Ensure the security and integrity of our critical systems
Minimum Qualifications Qualifications
3 - 4 years experience in a technical field
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
Excellent practical judgment. You should know how to effectively allocate your time when solving hard problems.
Experience with authentication and authorization technologies (LDAP, Active Directory, Kerberos, RADIUS, CAS, Shibboleth, Duo Security MFA)
Experience with AWS suite of services (EC2, S3, SQS, RDS, Route53, CloudWatch)
Experience deploying Python, Node.js, and Java applications in production
Familiarity with basic networking and related concepts including subnetting, load balancing, firewalls, and DNS
Familiarity with DevOps and agile practices
Familiarity with configuration management and orchestration tools (Ansible)
Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools
Familiarity with basic Git usage and hosted providers (GitHub, Bitbucket)
