The Director of Project Management serves as Director of the Project Management Team for campus IT. This position manages a small, but effective team of project managers; leads the Project Management Team to develop and refine an organizational project management framework to formalize project management standards, policies, and procedures; and coordinates communication across teams and to all levels within campus IT. The Director of Project Management works with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure projects are managed using appropriate project management methodologies; proactively manages project timelines through schedule management and progress tracking; takes responsibility for Creates project templates; and coaches and mentors technical project leads on successful project execution.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
At least six years of experience successfully managing complex projects on time and on budget with PMIPMBOK, agile, or lean project management processes
PMP, ScrumMaster, Six Sigma, or similar certification
At least two years supervisory experience
Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining project documentation including, but not limited to, and implementation plans; schedules; work breakdown structure; task and activity planning; issues and risk assessments; budget; steering and working committee agendas and follow up reports; team communications; and overall project reporting.
