The ASU Technology office is looking for a dynamic Full-Stack Developer to be a part of our growing Digital Transformation Team. The Full-Stack Developer will focus on Communication Tools Development. Development projects include Chat, Chatbots, Digital Assistants, SMS integrations, mobile tools and other smart technologies. The Full-Stack Developer works closely and collaboratively with users to design, create, develop, enhance and maintain web content, tools, functionality and format based on requests to ensure consistency in content in accordance with established standards, guidelines, and best practice methods.
Act as a primary developer on team projects from backend to frontend coding
Learn new technologies necessary to complete a project
Provide guidance for all security protocols and mechanisms involved with development
Perform hands-on solution design, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, as required in support of current and new projects
Work on all phases of a project: development, testing, qa remediation, production support, etc.
Communicate with team regarding status updates
Support architectural and development guidelines and best practices
Fix bugs and identify areas for improvement
Use knowledge of Full-Stack Development and standards for consistent user experience.
Use knowledge of chat and chatbot development principles and practices
Maintain knowledge of related marketing practices and principles
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or closely related field, and 3 years of web and database development experience, or any equivalent combination of skills and years of experience.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in development/coding experience
Demonstrated knowledge of HTML, CSS, and relevant web development languages
Experience in developing with the full software development life cycle
Cloud experience with AWS, Firebase, Google Cloud
Experience with working with mobile apps (iOS or Android)
Demonstrated knowledge of software testing design from Unit Tests to Integration Tests
Experience with Service Oriented Architecture & serverless development
Activities are primarily performed in a regular, climate controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking.
Use office equipment including a desktop computer.
Lift up to 20 pounds.
Clearly communicate to perform essential duties.
