To support innovation in our online programs initiatives, Stern is pleased to announce the creation of the Director, Online Programs position.
The Director, Online Programs will work closely with the Vice Dean for Online Learning to establish and direct new online courses, certificate offerings, and degree programs. The Director will collaborate with various stakeholders to evaluate online opportunities and drive all processes to create complete end-to-end offerings. S/he will help to select technology ensuring that all online systems are in place to deliver world-class programs with high student satisfaction. The selected candidate will direct operations of program delivery, including creation of program, course, marketing and registration schedules, and managing to key performance indicators and funnel data. S/he will direct admissions for the degree program offerings to ensure world-class cohorts are delivered for each program. The director will also manage and develop online program staff responsible for marketing, admissions, enrollment services, advising, program support, student services, and faculty support.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred) along with 7 years of relevant experience in higher education, technology, online content and delivery or equivalent combination. Experience managing online or other academic programs or student services function is preferred. The selected candidate will be a strong communicator and project manager, and have demonstrated strategic planning ability. Successful candidates will have the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders in a collegial way to drive desired results.
