The department of Enterprise Solutions at The University of Tampa has an opening for a Senior Web and Sharepoint Analyst. Under the direction of the Assistant Director, Enterprise Applications, the Sr. Web and Sharepoint Services Analyst will be responsible for designing, coding and modifying administrative system websites, from layout to function, in accordance with the business needs and specifications provided. This individual will provide programming and support for SIS/ERP portal, and support of other web and Office 365 applications, including Sharepoint.
The Sr. Web and Sharepoint Services Analyst will participate in multiple projects and work collaboratively with business analysts, functional and technical cross-functional teams and directly with users, faculty and staff. This individual must be a disciplined self-starter with proven technical and analytical skills, communication skills and customer service skills while adhering to best practices and proven methodologies.
Provide technical support, research and analysis, problem resolution for all web, SharePoint online, and Office 365 related applications.
Act as the team lead to ensure proper direction and development of web services required to support the university.
Provide Public Information office with technical support, upgrades, vendor support management and ticket communications of the university's content management software (Ektron).
Provide technical support and programming related to integrations of web based application software systems with other software systems.
Research and complete technical analysis in support of problem resolution of web related technologies and identify and recommend workflow process improvements and system setup for automation and improved outcomes.
Participate in project meetings and provide an assessment of the requirements and project tasks regarding level of effort, duration and testing phase scheduling.
Work closely with the business analysts, PMO office, programmers and DBA's and others to define and review business requirements with users for enhancements and customizations.
Adhere to policies and procedures as defined by information technology and security management and leadership.
Adhere to change management procedures, and provide timely communication and discussion with information technology and security team about impact of necessary changes.
Provide information / documentation to IT Helpdesk technicians/student workers, and others within the information technology and security department to assist in supporting systems.
Support Information Technology and Security in ISO 27001 related practices to ensure the security and protection of university assets and data.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies, Business Administration or related field.
Microsoft Certifications related to programming and Office 365 a plus.
Excellent technical and programming skills as well as exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to frame problems and opportunities using supporting data and measuring impact.
On-call and occasional weekend work required.
Experience with SIS systems such as: Jenzabar CX/EX/JX, Workday, Ellucian Banner/Colleague, Oracle Peoplesoft.
Sharepoint Online and other Office 365 applications.
Ability to execute actionable items, project tasks, as part of the technical team from requirements and/or enterprise architectural planning.
Ability to facilitate problem-solving among administrative groups with varying needs and priorities, and to communicate well with administrative users, technical staff, and senior management.
Strong understanding of higher education business processes and education trends.
Working knowledge of relational database reporting tools.
Familiar with project management strategies with the ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate project status and recommend direction for the implementation process.
