As part of the UTO, this Workday Integrations Developer will contribute to the development of key financial and other systems whose impact span the University. Responsible for analysis, design, development, documentation, defect resolution, and implementation of Workday Studio integrations, EIB, and BIRT Reports.

Create and modify Workday Studio integrations
Create and modify Workday BIRT Reports
Create and modify Workday Reports; including Simple, Advanced, Composite, and Matrix reports.
Participate in all phases of the development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, transition, and support
Maintain strong technical skills in relevant integration areas such as Java, XML, XSLT, MVEL
Utilize strong design and development patterns and frameworks to ensure solutions are sound and meet the client requirements
Verify the scope of work provided to you is in line with the estimated delivery timeline, provide accurate status updates, and immediately notify the project manager if there is a concern about the ability to deliver according to expectations on time or quality
Follow good practices and project guidelines in all cases including the use of source code control, automated testing and deployment approaches, test-case-based development, and proper documentation practices.
Continue to develop professional and technical knowledge by working with other team members, attending workshops and webinars, reading industry publications, and participating in technology communities
Contribute to the ASU University Technology Office development team by sharing knowledge, assisting others, and keeping up with the new trends and best practices as they evolve in the industry
Identify and quickly escalate potential issues with solution design, packaged software, client resources, or anything else that impacts your ability to deliver according to expectations
Attend required meetings and calls on time and with adequate preparation
Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years working as a Workday Studio developer OR, an equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Evidence of having a Certification of Workday Integration
Experience with Oracle database
Experience with Java, HTML/XML, MVEL skills.
Exposure to Workday Cloud Connectors
Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse (75%);
Required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work (10%).
Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds (15%).
Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities, which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts.
Ability to clearly communicate verbally, read, write, see and hear to perform essential functions.
Regular use of standard office equipment including, but not limited to: computer workstation/laptop (keyboard, monitor, mouse), printer, fax, calculator, copier, telephone and associated computer/technology peripherals.
