The ASU Technology office is looking for a dynamic full-stack developer to be a part of our growing Mobile & IoT Team. The Full-Stack / Mobile Development group continues to be at the forefront of technological innovation at ASU. Depends on experience
Act as a primary developer on team projects from backend to frontend coding
Learn new technologies necessary to complete a project
Understand and provide guidance for all security protocols and mechanisms involved with development
Perform hands-on solution design, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, as required in support of current and new projects
Work on all phases of a project: development, testing, qa remediation, production support, etc.
Communicate with team regarding status updates
Support architectural and development guidelines and best practices
Fix bugs and identify areas for improvement
Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology or related field AND two (2) years experience providing information technology services; OR, Six (6) years experience providing information technology services; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. Certificates from recognized programs that indicate mastery of tools and techniques relevant to the assignment may substitute for up to six months experience.
Experience in developing with the full software development life cycle
Cloud experience with AWS, Firebase, Google Cloud
Experience with working with mobile apps (iOS or Android)
Demonstrated knowledge of software testing design from Unit Tests to Integration Tests
Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and serverless development
Use PC and use hand/fingers for repetitive motion (keyboarding/typing)
Sit or stand for extended periods of time
Walk moderate distances to perform work
Communicate both orally and in writing, and read/interpret written and oral instructions/directions
May require lifting of items weighing up to 40 pounds
