Carleton College is seeking an Enterprise Software Business Analyst who will be a member of the Enterprise Information Systems team. This position will play a key role in defining highly visible projects that balance departmental an institutional considerations. The Analyst will work closely with technologists and department product owners to analyze local and cloud solutions to meet business process needs.
The Enterprise Software Business Analyst performs and executes all phases of project life cycles, including requirements definition and refinement, solution design and business workflow, change management and ongoing production support. They will also conduct interviews and facilitate workshops and focus groups to gather and analyze the need for new or enhanced functionality.
This is a long-term temporary, full-time, year-round, fully benefit eligible position through June 2023.

The successful candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of three years’ experience in information technology, preferably business or systems analysis or project management. Preferred qualities include experience with the specialized needs presented in a higher education environment and experience utilizing various modes of user interaction to gather requirements – one-on-one interviews, small group sessions, and large workshops.
