The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is seeking applications for an IT Operations Analyst for the office of ITS Infrastructure. This is a full-time, permanent staff position. We provide highly reliable information technology infrastructure, tools and services to empower the University to achieve its academic, research, administrative and service goals.

Essential Job Duties: Design, configure and maintain the Unified Communications infrastructure which includes Voice over IP, Contact Center, Unity Voicemail and Presence technologies as well as legacy TDM/PBX technologies including analog and digital medium. This position provides 2nd level support by generating, maintaining, and providing input on help tickets, work orders, and related requests which support the technical objectives of the department. This includes technical troubleshooting, repair requests, data analysis, and installation and design of the communications infrastructure and associated components.
This position serves as systems administrator for the core telephony systems and servers which provide dial tone and unified voice communications to campus users. This position also performs network performance analysis, bandwidth and connectivity monitoring, diagnostic support, and performance tuning of infrastructure (voice/data/video) and cabling components which support and are used on the communications network.
