The Prospect Research Analyst is responsible for the identification and initial assessment of prospective donors to support Carleton’s fundraising initiatives and upcoming campaign. The Analyst’s duties include identifying, qualifying, evaluating, incorporating new data, and disseminating information on these prospective donors. The Prospect Research Analyst will also identify new prospective major gift donors, develop, audit, and update information on existing major gift prospective donors, and ensure accurate prospect tracking information.
This position is a full-time (1.0 FTE) year-round extended term position to support the impending capital campaign of the College. The anticipated time frame of this position is June 1, 2018 through December 31, 2021. It is eligible for our generous benefit package upon hire.

The successful candidate possess a bachelor’s degree, have the ability to read, comprehend, and summarize documents including SEC filings, property records, 990 forms, and FEC fillings, and the ability to set priorities in order to follow-through on long term and short term projects and to meet deadlines. Preferred qualities include previous prospect research experience or other directly related experience, campaign experience, and demonstrated command of the APRA skill sets.
