As part of the LMS Migration team, Design, develops and delivers visual, multimedia, animation, sound and graphics elements in support of website and online instructional content.

As part of the LMS migration team, designs, develops and delivers visual, multimedia, and graphics to support transition team activities.
Maintain the LMS transition website.
Work with team members to create LMS training materials, including self-help documents, online tutorials, and other multimedia materials to assist faculty in using Canvas and migrating their courses from Blackboard.
Provide graphic design and support for administrative reports and presentations.
Coordinate and perform technical duties in production of webinars, podcasts, streaming and other field and/or studio productions.
Operate video editing equipment; determines/edits special effects, composition and overall design of video productions; records audio. Serves as producer and/or director of video and still photographic events; schedules equipment, selects location(s) and develops storyboard; completes all post production editing and/or integration of elements to achieve desired outcome; maintains archives of digital photographs to support the project.
Remain abreast of technology directions, initiatives and trends within scope of expertise to provide ideas, guidance and recommendations.
Mentor and cross-trains other team members in areas of knowledge.
Days and Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM and occasional weekend on-call work
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, or a related area, AND, GRAPHICS (Proficiency):2 years experience in Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator, 2D imaging software and 2D animation software (Flash) and creating web graphics. VIDEO:(Proficiency):2 years experience in video/audio production.
Experience in developing and maintaining a Drupal website.
Demonstrated knowledge and use of web-based multimedia creation software including Adobe Premiere and Photoshop, HTML editing, MS Presenter and audio editing software.
Experience in creating and editing knowledge base support materials.
Experience in designing, developing, implementing and revising training, reporting, and presentation materials.
Experience working in a higher education environment, interacting and supporting faculty and administration.
Demonstrated knowledge with both Blackboard and Canvas.
Experience in writing, proofreading and editing instructional materials.
Activities are primarily performed in a regular, climate controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking. Visual acuity and manual dexterity associated with daily use of desktop computer; bending, stooping, reaching, lifting and pushing objects of varying weights up to 50 pounds. Ability to clearly communicate verbally in English, read, write, see and hear to perform essential duties. May include exposure to external environment/climate conditions including walking on uneven surfaces, climbing and high temperatures. For VIDEO: Essential duties may also require location work which may occur in adverse weather conditions. Locations may be interior/exterior in perhaps rugged conditions. Fragile electronic equipment must be transported both manually and with the assistance of portage devices. Operation of video and photographic equipment may be handheld for extended periods. Some equipment, such as lighting and cabling, can be dangerous during operation and setup.
