The Claremont Colleges Services (TCCS) is the shared services organization for a highly regarded cluster of seven independent colleges known as The Claremont Colleges located in Southern California. Today, TCCS is a nationally recognized educational model for academic support, student support and institutional support services to meet the needs of 6,300 students and 2,300 faculty and staff. The Claremont Colleges Library, located at the heart of the seven campuses, is the preeminent academic resource for The Claremont Colleges. The Claremont Colleges Library is seeking an energetic, skilled, and experienced Learning Spaces and Technology Coordinator (LSTC). This is a new position at the library, reporting to the Director of User Services and Resource Sharing (USERS). The LSTC will manage, support, assess, and continuously improve the library's technology-rich, interactive, and innovative learning spaces. The incumbent will play a key role in supporting all public service units within the library, specifically USERS; Research, Teaching, & Learning Services; and Special Collections and Libraries to ensure that all learning spaces and technologies are anticipating and meeting our users' needs. The successful candidate will be user- and learner-centered, collaborative, tech-savvy, and flexible, with project management experience. Requirements include a BA, BS, or equivalent and at least two years' experience of managing technology-enriched facilities or providing integrated technology support to end users.
