Rollins College is seeking a professional with strong analytical skills to assume the role of PCI Compliance & R-Card Coordinator. We will rely on you to coordinate all College activities around PCI compliance, complete the annual attestation, maintain knowledge of all changes to PCI regulations and work with impacted departments to ensure the College meets those regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for all Point-of-Sale (POS) devices used on campus and as a component of the off-campus dining program and determine the capabilities required in the POS devices. The Coordinator will serve as the primary software specialist in the Blackboard Transact system used as the software on POS devices. Functions include working with the system administrator to update software as appropriate and working with the Finance and Bursar’s Office to reconcile all R-Card transactions within the Blackboard Transact system.
A college degree and a minimum of four years of work experience preferred
Experience maintaining hardware and software and an understanding of databases and report generation
A strong understanding of hardware and software, especially in the area of Point-of-Sale devices
Ability to program the system and understand its reporting structure
Ability to run reports from the system and create new reports, as necessary
Understanding of financial accounting principles in budget reconciliation
Strong desire to keep abreast of new technologies and willingness to learn PCI standards
Strong analytical skills, including ability to gather and analyze information and develop appropriate recommendations for action
