Reporting to the Associate Vice President Enterprise Application Services, the Portal Administrator will participate in developing the overall portal information architecture and design; support Banner/portal/CMS data integration and LDI event processing; create portlets and configure permissions to view/edit portlet content. Create, manage portal page layouts, and configure permissions to view/edit pages; create and manage groups/roles for targeting portal content and manage the portal content and document/image library. The incumbent will work within applicable governance processes to add new portlets and make changes to the portal on an ongoing basis; may serve as the primary intake point for portal change requests and “negotiate” with varying content owners to determine what changes are made. The Portal Administrator will assist and train systems analysts, web developers, or system administrators as required; help develop and enforce relevant portal style guidelines and best practices in alignment with the institutions overall communication guidelines; remain current with new technology trends; lead functional (users) and technical (ITD) project teams and perform other related tasks or special projects as assigned. Note: Incumbent will be expected to respond to emergencies after normal business hours as necessary.

B.S. degree in computer science, computer information systems, or related field required.
Five (5) years full-time, progressively responsible experience as a portal administrator, systems administrator, or developer required.
Prior experience with Liferay, Ethos, Luminis with at least one (1) year of project management experience preferred.
