This position provides support for Eastern Washington University's enterprise telecom, telepresence and wired/wireless networks. This position will manage, coordinate, and plan for provisioning of University telecom and telepresence systems, in support of the University.
This Position will provide leadership, analysis and consultation on telecom systems and services to include programming and maintenance.
This position will perform complex tasks such as conducting capacity planning to determine organizational needs and make recommendations; designing complex telecom systems crossing multiple networks, platforms or telecom environments; overseeing the daily operations of telecom for all campus locations; identifying and resolving operational problems for major high risk systems with centralized, organizational functions such as Cisco Call Manager and Unified Messaging; providing quality assurance; develop or enhance standards that include high risk/impact, mission critical applications; integrating business solutions, as well as writing feasibility studies and decision packages for high visibility/impact initiatives.
