This job role is typically responsible for the following:
handling the functioning of the application of organizational and client websites
supporting existing applications
developing new applications for business purposes
rendering support to the professionals who normally use the new applications and web portals
maintaining web server efficiency
maintaining SharePoint site collection
training and presenting of new systems and processes
Any combination of the following totaling two years:
Progressively more responsible work experience in IT that included web development (HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT) and/or WordPress administration
Possess ITIL Foundations certifications prior to the end of the 12 month probation period.
College course work in Information Technology, Web Development or a closely related discipline (verify with transcript) as measured below:
60 semester hours or Associate's Degree equals one year
90-120 semester hours or Bachelor's Degree equals two years
Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages .NET Framework, PHP, and Python.
Demonstrated experience with WordPress administration.
Understanding of Microsoft SharePoint development (Web Parts and master pages specifically).
Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL.
Demonstrated ability to learn new skills independently.
Understanding of Microsoft Windows and Linux Server management.
Understanding IP address spaces and DNS.
Demonstrated proficiency with Visual Studio, Model View Controller, Continuous Integration/Delivery and Git.

Basic understanding of user interface/experience design.
Experience with Jenkins, DreamWeaver, and SharePoint site collection administration.
Understanding of formal usability testing.
Understanding of secure coding principals.
Understanding of general server infrastructure and security.
