If you are an IT professional with experience in complex and collaborative IT environments, and in leading IT service and project management strategies and initiatives – you may be an ideal candidate for the Director of The IT Center of Excellence, a newly established office within the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s CIO Office. In partnership with the University’s IT governance groups, this position will play a leading role in developing a transformative vision to shape the University’s IT strategies in service and project management, and in defining IT services from business-centric, outcome- and value-focused perspectives that are meaningful to business, administrative and academic stakeholders. Major responsibilities include service portfolio management, service level management, service catalog management, and project portfolio management. The ideal candidate is an IT professional with experience in these areas, in leading significant change management efforts, and in providing leadership, exercising influence, and building consensus and partnerships around these issues in a complex and collaborative IT environment of both central and distributed IT services, and while serving a broad spectrum of stakeholders and customers.
