Illinois Central College is seeking an individual to be responsible for teaching courses in the Networking Administrator degree program at the College. This program tract covers both Microsoft MCSA and MCSE as well as various CompTIA certifications. Responsibilities will also include: advising students; serving on departmental and institutional committees; maintaining courses; and developing new courses for the curriculum.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field with one or more years of experience in the computer field or computer education. Microsoft networking experience and willingness to attain a Master's degree upon tenure. In addition, if the candidate has work and/or teaching experience, but no professional certifications, the candidate must complete at least one professional certification upon tenure.
Desirable Qualifications: Master's degree-with course work in computers and networking. Community college teaching or industry training experience, experience working with students in a computer-based lab, experience teaching and developing courses. Microsoft and Cisco certifications and teaching experience in these areas a plus
