Acts as the lead Banner technical engineer by overseeing complex Banner Student Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) technical analysis, solution design and implementation for campus-wide impact. Collaborates with campus constituents to determine solution design, leads Banner Student developers to create appropriate solutions and works with development team through test plans and change management.
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
Minimum of 8 years of related experience.
Must pass a background check.
Travel may be required for development and training opportunities, as well as systemwide meetings.
Demonstrated software repository skills. Advanced knowledge of secure software development Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team. Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines. Excellent project leadership and management skills. Advanced experience with identification and use of code libraries and open-source forums. Demonstrated complex problem- solving skills. Experience developing and executing complex test plans. Advanced experience with planning for deployment and creation of feedback mechanisms. Demonstrated ability to understand functional needs and how systems can support those needs. Demonstrated ability to develop conversion and system implementation plans. Highly advanced skills associated with software specification, design, modification, implementation and deployment of large-scale scope. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization. Current working knowledge of the Banner Student ERP solution.
