The Application Analyst is responsible for web development, database development, and application programming for the School of Law.
It requires an advanced level of technical knowledge and applied experience in these areas.
It must manage a constantly shifting flow of minor and major projects effectively and produce specified deliverables on a timely basis.
The position must also be able to prioritize effectively and requires excellent consulting skills as it involves a significant amount of direct contact with multiple constituents within the unit.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, math, or Engineering or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution; or
Bachelor’s degree and some computer coursework from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in business application consulting or development; or
Associate’s degree in Computer Programming and one year of experience in application consulting or development; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Journey level requires an additional one year of experience.
Advanced level requires an additional two years of experience
The successful applicant will possess strong database design and programming skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, exemplary customer service and teamwork skills. Experience in graphic design is also desirable.
