PRIMARY PURPOSE/ POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Enrollment Systems is responsible for assisting in identifying, implementing and integrating all enrollment/recruitment technologies, information systems, enterprise data and operations in a manner that leverages a “best in class” and “best practice” approach to the utilization of technology, systems, and data in support of Undergraduate & Graduate offices of admission. In concert with the IT department, the Director will seek to create efficiencies and foster innovations in the use of systems and technology that positively impact the work of Enrollment Management (EM). The Director will be responsible for all functional aspects of the CRM system-(JRM, Jenzabar Recruitment Management running on the Salesforce.com platform) its inputs and outputs. The director will also play an integral part in the management and maintenance of the Dominican online admissions application(s). This position requires a strong technical background, strong understanding of relational databases and their tools, a strong understanding of the leveraging of technology specifically in enrollment operations as well as strong skills in the integration of technology with business processes, workflows and operations. The successful candidate must also possess the ability to engage and help train recruitment and admission staff as well as have the ability to interact with other leaders on campus.

JOB COMPONENTS/PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy and Policy In collaboration with the Vice President for Enrollment Management:
Serve as Information Technology (IT) liaison for Enrollment Management.
Develop and implement a strategic technology and enrollment operation plan for the division of Enrollment Management that supports all student populations and academic programs and helps to ensure attainment of enrollment goals through the support of all admission and enrollment office needs for technology, system, data and operations.
Develop and apply enrollment system and data policies and procedures that guarantee data quality, data assurance and availability for all admission and recruitment operations. Policies will include data standards, data sharing, and integration with other units within the division of EM and with the rest of the university enterprise, as well as with external sources of data from vendors and other sources as necessary.
Collaborate with the EM leadership team members on the development of an integrated plan for all EM technology, systems and data architecture and establish protocols for how systems and data will be used, shared, and leveraged within the division and across the rest of the university.
Work and collaborate with IT staff as needed for implementation and maintenance of admissions and recruitment systems and technology including software, online assets, and hardware infrastructure needs. This work will be scheduled to minimize impact to admission operations and may require evening and/or weekend hours.
Identify opportunities of improvement and efficiencies in the areas of student data gathering, transference, reporting and maintenance.
Work with University Marketing & Communication to ensure that DU’s brand is communicated in a consistent and compelling way in recruitment communications to all external and internal audiences of the university.
Work with operations, data/processing staff to assess and evaluate effectiveness of internal processes supporting other offices, and providing direction to update as necessary.
Provide broad direction and assistance in the setting and maintaining of recruitment communications for all admitting units.
Ensure that the data/processing staff works with personnel in each admissions office to train and ensure effective and consistent use of campus systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work with multiple student populations such as traditional undergraduate, adult/post-traditional undergraduate, graduate, and continuing/executive admission
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills
Able to work independently
Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
Ability to collaborate and develop partnerships between different organizational groups
Adaptable and flexible, able to prioritize and respond effectively to multiple demands
Demonstrated ability to manage complex data systems
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is required; a master’s degree in a computer science field is preferred.
Eight to ten years progressive professional experience, with at least five years of professional experience in higher education enrollment systems or operations.
