Middlebury College seeks a Director of Digital Pedagogy and Media to lead a team that develops critical learning spaces in both digital and hybrid environments, researches and offers programs on digital fluency, and initiates conversations that forward the transformative potential of education. Reporting to the Associate Provost for Digital Learning, the Director of Digital Pedagogy and Media will manage a team of instructional designers and media specialists who partner with faculty and students.
The ideal candidate will have a solid teaching background, sophisticated knowledge of a broad range of theoretical bases for digital learning, a national/international professional profile, and experience building collaborative and imaginative teams. Masters degree required, Ph.D preferred. At least 3-5 years of experience teaching and practicing instructional design in higher education and managing teams of specialists.
