In partnership with the Instructional Design team, the Course Builder is responsible for online and blended course building, maintenance, and troubleshooting within the school’s Learning Management System (LMS) that contributes to the overall quality assurance process. Duties to include: build new course content, including modules, quizzes, tests, etc.; review and reformat course content; update revised and rewritten content for existing courses; provide maintenance for existing courses; and assist with special curriculum projects identified by the Instructional Design team.
Qualifications: bachelor’s degree in a related field required: 1-3 years of experience with building online course content within learning management systems (e.g. Blackboard or Canvas); skill using video recording, screenshot, and screen capture software; ability to learn and adapt in a fast pace and innovative environment; and ability to manage multiple priorities and successfully complete tasks according to established deadlines. Experience in higher education or technology-driven environment preferred.
