Valencia College is now hiring a Director, Financial Aid Systems responsible for providing leadership, vision, and coordination for technology services and systems within the Financial Aid department. Serves as the primary point-of-contact and liaison to the Office of Information Technology (OIT) for financial aid technology services, initiatives, and issues.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
A Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 5 years demonstrated experience in leading and managing student information systems and experience in financial aid technology administration: Ellucian’s Banner preferred.
Knowledge of Title IV Regulations, GI Bill for Higher Education and state regulations related to financial aid.
Knowledge of scripting and programming languages like Perl, SQL, and Pro*C.
To develop, implement, and maintain IT processes for the financial aid department, including the use of automation tools, automated scripts, and electronic workflows in coordination with OIT and other system users.
To ensure system compliance with federal, state, and institutional financial aid regulations. Stay abreast of daily posts from NASFAA, IFAP, FSATech, and Ellucian.
